SEO for Improving Margins and Reducing Costs!

If someone asks me what is Search Engine Optimization all about I will give a simple reply; I will say  that “SEO is a strategy or a collation of strategies that are applied inclusively to achieve top ranks in search engines”. The only motive behind doing search engine optimization is to get a website the highest priority on the popularity lists, in the midst of web visitors.

Netpreneurs or individuals who are doing business on the Internet gun for only a singular target, i.e., to reach their target audience in as fast a time as is physically possible. In the pursuit of their objective the online business owners leave no Search Engine Optimization tool unused. It’s a constant practice with online businesses to apply all those search engine optimization tools and techniques to the full so that they are able to drive traffic. All the efforts of Netpreneurs are geared towards achieving:

1. Improvement in the Margins
2. Reduction of costs
3. Building Sales

Applying Google Analytics to minimize Bounce Rate.

I will explain this concept by giving a real life example. Supposing, there is a case scenario, wherein every second visitor that arrives at your website through a gateway page leaves your site within a span of a few seconds. It means that the visitor never bothers to stay at the website for long. When such a situation occurs repetitively then it becomes imperative to adopt some practical measures so that the bounce rate is stopped or minimized completely.

At that point of time Google Analytics, a web tool, is applied to make everything fall in to place. Google Analytics enables to identify that exact point from where the bounces are coming from. The root of the problem is diagnosed by applying this web tool. A report is obtained based upon the Bounce Rate column and an analysis is done of the worst performing sources, responsible for the increase in bounce rate.

The report that is obtained helps to pinpoint the products / keywords that are attracting visitors in low numbers. The report also reveals which of the targeted keywords are doing exceptionally well. When comprehensive information is received by using Google Analytics we come to know the loopholes of our ad campaign. We can then tweek our ad campaign or can customize our message to suit the targeted visitors. Thus, by applying Google Analytics we are able to improve conversion rate and boost sales.
